Forty’s Trusted Trades is a local property repair and maintenance company built on years of hands-on work across construction, landscaping and property maintenance on the South Coast.

Most contractors see a problem through the lens of their own trade. That makes sense, and for a lot of work a dedicated specialist is exactly who you want. But many property problems don’t start and stop inside one trade.
Forty’s Trusted Trades came out of working across many kinds of jobs: drywall and carpentry on commercial construction projects in the New Bedford Industrial Park; landscaping, masonry, fencing and snow removal through work with New Beginnings Landscaping; and current, day-to-day property maintenance with Acorn Management, handling repairs, troubleshooting and preventive care across occupied properties.
Each of those jobs taught something different. Construction taught how buildings go together and how to build to spec. Landscaping and masonry taught what water, frost and weather do to a property over time. Property maintenance taught how to walk into a problem nobody has diagnosed yet, figure out what’s going on and get it working again.
Put together, that experience creates a different way of looking at a property. A ceiling stain isn’t just a drywall patch; it’s a question about where the water is coming from. A leaning fence isn’t just a board; it’s a post, a footing and maybe a drainage issue. Seeing how the pieces connect is what lets us find the practical fix instead of the obvious one.
That’s the idea behind the company: one trusted call for repairs, maintenance and property projects. You shouldn’t need to know which trade you need before you pick up the phone. Tell us what’s happening and we’ll help figure out the next step.
